Alice Teeple is a photographer, artist and writer. She explores themes of the collective subconscious and spirituality. Teeple’s conceptual work is inspired by nature, British and Celtic mythologies, music, the occult, divination, silent cinema, Shakespeare, human history, and psychic visions.
Born in rural Pennsylvania, her childhood was filled with fairy tales and the wild unknown. Spending much of her early life at the historical museum her family operated also inspired her taste for time travel.
Teeple is a self-taught photographer with a background in illustration, painting, and filmmaking. She lives New York City, where she currently works as a freelance photographer. She also is the music editor for Downtown Magazine.
